You dont need ["Save Yourselves!" (luxon)] or consummables to complete Slavers NM with heroes.

Just [frozen soil] on a /R to make it easier. Bring swap for Duncan.

Did it with Discordway.

Yes you can. Heroes can change secondaries. I'd just make bar space and attempt to fit it in. Shouldn't be hard at all.

Ummm, guys, what's the point? The point is that you can do Forgewight with Sabway--maybe you want to check the title of this thread, you know, just to remind yourselves--not whether you would prefer to do it with [frozen soil] on your bars.

Sometimes I think you all just want to argue.

What? We recommend bringing frozen soil to Slavers because we want to argue?

Sabway can and should be adapted/optimized to whatever area you are doing. Just because the default generic sabway doesn't include FS doesn't imply you must never ever bring FS, even to the areas where bringing FS make sense.

Using Discordway in HM; On the healer Nerco, Rotting flesh is a long cast and the healer Necro seems to both take some abuse while casting it and in the time it takes to cast it could fire off two of its other skills.

So I am wondering if Death Nova is stack-able? It is a shorter cast, I already have it on the MM and could put it on the healer in place of Rotting flesh and it will still cause a condition.

However if they don't stack and the healers cast could at times replace or be put in place of the MM's stronger cast version of it then is would not be good idea.

Death Nova is poison and Rotting Flesh is disease. They are different conditions. Disease spreads across the same species, so in this sense it is worth the longer casting time in my opinion, but only if you are not attacking non-fleshy creatures and non-humans.

Having used sabway, and varients of it to vanquish eotn and elona, still going in other areas, but it works nicely overall. However, I changed the N/Rt to a N/Mo because I personally am classist against resto rits ><.

Anywayz, figured id let others know the build I used:

[Icy Veins][Dwayna's Kiss][Patient Spirit][Dwayna's Sorrow][Shield of Absorbtion][Foul Feast][Cure Hex][Restore Life]

I have 12 healing, enough prot for 5 seconds on soa and the rest in soul reaping. If I need more heals in an area I drop icy veins for WoH.

Theres better party heals due to dwaynas sorrow @ 12, when I aggro, i get prot spirit and soa which makes me essentially immune, and this has some hex control, coupled with a very nice heal.

Overall, i prefer this variant. I actually cant remember if i used restore or renew... i think it was restore.

I don't understand why people are so set with their builds be it heroes or their own characters. The great thing about sabway is that it can be fiddled with depending on whatever challenge you face in a particular area. People act like if you change one skill the entire build is shit. I've done most of Slavers h/h (just have duncan left haven't tried him yet) and wow I managed to put frozen soil on one of my necros...freaking amazing.

Well, put it this way...I've done Slavers' with and without frozen soil, and it was a lot easier without. If you kill them fast enough, it doesn't matter that they can res. I found frozen soil a needless energy sink.

If you really want to do it, the only Sabway necro you can realistically put frozen soil on is the Spiteful Spirit curser.

For the last few months, I've run a necro, so I've used her as the SS attacker in the Sabway trio. I generally use PvE skills - Pain Inverter, Ebon Vanguard Assassin Support, Alkar's Alchemical Acid, Breath of the Great Dwarf - depending on which mission/area I'm doing, and have tweaked the rest of the bar to go with SS, Suffering, Desecrate Enchantments, Insidious Parasite and Mark of Pain. This setup seems to work well for a live person who's leading a Sabway team. I'm currently running a mesmer with an all-hero Sabway group, so I'll have to adjust accordingly; experimenting with the base setup to start with.

1. What about +1 dm 20% chance on MM necro? I have spear and shield on him, not staff. Is that ok? Or definitely HCT? (he's usually the only one who runs out of energy by spamming minion spells, so what exactly hct does except less interrupts?)

2. +hp mods are less good on any of these necros? Well, it's the same question again, is hct really better?

I will honestly say I didnt have problem with these chars dying, but i didnt go into very dangerous areas yet.

Edit: never mind, i noticed party health is very good with this setup and the only problem is lack of fast-casting on necros, so they can plow faster. Also, it seems with bone minions i think NRt healer is enough in a 6 party team (single healer).

Putrid Flesh is really good too. You have a bunch of minions, it explodes a minion and diseases foes only. So it applies the condition part of discord well, along with enfeebling.

When I play necro, I usually bring 2 or 3 MM heroes which is fairly radical but it works so long as there are corpses.

[build=OAhCY8xUeQZglgdQM5uoc5FD]

[build=OANDUshtOL1qAaAPY0qqgx3J]
[build=OANDUslfOL1qAa419SqHBkqK]
[build=OAhjUoGYIPW7qg0cyNMHnV1LGA]

I run superior Death Magic on all of the heroes, which is generally frowned upon, but I don't care much. They also have Minor Soul Reaping, Vitaes and either Tormentor's or Minion Master's insignias for financial reasons.

Barbs and Mark of Pain blow crap up pretty fast with 25+ minions floating around and Pain Inverter is insta-kill for anything with AoE... such as Arbor Earthcall with his Shockwave.

I actualy really like your Tech there Makosi Theres nothing like having 30 + minons in a team Will try it for my next VQ Hower i would drop Blood of the master surley its a huge sacc. Maybe just using healing Circ would be a better option just for those out of mob heals.

Yeah, the sacrifice is pretty big from Blood of the Master but it will never exceed 75% max health with 30 minions and heroes won't sac themselves to death. If it wasn't for Blood of the Master I would take more minions so I'll try using Healing Ring or Heal Area.
